Weekend tips from week 36
It is a bit quiet on Bblogt. This of course is due to the arrival of our lady and the buzz around it. But of course I could not miss the regular column on Friday.
It promises to be a rainy weekend but that should not spoil the fun. There are again plenty of things to do in the region. Time for the weekend tips!
Podium Westland
Saturday, September 5 the center of Naaldwijk is dedicated to Podium Westland. At various locations you can enjoy art, culture, music and dance. This annual event is organized this year by Westland Cultuurweb. Since there is so much to do and see I have made a selection of some activities for children.
You can run from 13.00-18.00 o’clock at the Havenplein for crazy workshops for children. From dancing to painting and from drumming to singing. There is also lots to do for children in the library.
Take a look at the grand knights spectacle of theater group Hilaria at 13:00.00h and at 16.00hour. Or laugh along with a performance of Hakim at 14.30hour. Take a look at the full program on the website of Cultuurweb.
You can choose where to look?
Culinary Westland
At the same time as Podium Westland, you can enjoy culinary highlights at Culinair Westland on Saturday. This annual event takes place at the Wilhelminaplein in Naaldwijk. The square is transformed into a real culinary terrace with several restaurants.
Participating restaurants from the region serve the most delicious dishes and specialties. So you can grab a bite to eat anywhere and try various culinary delights. This event starts tonight at 17.00h and will continue until Saturday, September 5, 23.00hour.
Enjoy your meal!
World Port Days
The World Port Days start today in Rotterdam. Every year the port of Rotterdam opens its ‘doors’ to the public. On rn along the water is plenty to do.
There are shows and demonstrations, you get a look behind the scenes and you can enjoy beautiful ships. This year’s theme is Dream Harbor. I wonder what dreams there are for the port.
For the full program and all the ins and outs, check out the World Port Days site.
Hopefully the weather will cooperate this weekend. And otherwise.. Put on rain suits and boots and go outside.
Have a nice weekend!
